I thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite three-course dinner showcasing local flavors and the breakfast offered freshly baked pastries along with a thoughtful selection of beverages.

The views here are unreal, with panoramic scenery that's straight out of a dream. Our wine tasting was informative and engaging. We enjoyed a fabulous three-course lunch that was delicious, showcasing local flavors. The walking trails around the hotel are well-marked and perfect for a leisurely stroll to soak in the beauty.

What a letdown! The room was supposed to be luxurious, yet it lacked basic amenities like a safe and TV. Breakfast was a total disappointment with limited options served indoors, which felt wrong given the beautiful weather. Dinner, while tasty, left us hungry with its small portion sizes.

One downside was the limited drinks menu. we expected a wider selection, like Gin and Tonic or Aperol spritz. It was a bit disappointing, especially when we wanted something refreshing after a long day.

Staying at this beautiful property felt like visiting a cozy family home, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Douro River. Staying in a Premium Double or Twin Room for two nights was a delight, with stunning views enveloping the property. The infinity pool offered a breathtaking perspective of the vineyards, and the wine museum provided a charming backdrop to our experience. Breakfast featured poached eggs and a variety of fresh local items, making every morning special. A minor downside was the lack of coffee service before breakfast, which would have been appreciated, given the remote location.

We had a lovely time exploring the vineyards, especially discovering the Roman garden where we could pluck oranges right from the tree. The outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace were perfect spots to relax while taking in the stunning views. Just a small note, there wasn't much storage in the room, but it didn’t detract from our experience at all. 🍷
